DUIKAR

 
 

Duikar and Melshikar View Points

Duikar is a small hamlet at a height of 10000 feet and Malishkar is the highest hamlet in upper Altit. This is the most magnificent view point and any one without visiting this place is like that he never had visited Hunza. At this point one feels that he is in an aircraft or he is standing on roof of the world. Here the weather can turn luck because all here is the magic of weather that allows you to enjoy the beauty from the top. At about 11,500 feet high there is an awesome array of snow and rock buttresses, ice flows, streams, waterfalls and meadows. From these points one can enjoy the panaromic view of the whole Hunza nad Nagar vallys, the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

Sunrise and Sunset

This is a very beautiful spot to enjoy sunrise and sunset. For this purpose the visitors need to wake up early in the morning at about 5.30 and climb to the upper view points. If the weather is clear one can enjoy the most magnificent and mind blowing sun rising view as the first sun rays touches the gigantic peaks and glaciers.

Moon Night

If the weather is clear, one can enjoy a very amazing moon night with the mind blowing view of surrounding snow covered peaks with carpet of stars in the sky.

View Point

The point offers fabulous views of Hunza and Nagar valleys and the surrounding glaciers and peaks as each gets the sun light one by one as sun rises.
