Games and Sports

Since old time many traditional games were played in Hunza including:

1.  Polo:  This was very famous and having state patronage.

2. Mindek,

3. Bakel,

4. Jakun Jakun,

5. Api Chuchut,

6. Chuchu mamas,

7. Chaghadagham,

8. Dagha daghayas,

9. Fiyofal,

10. Tastaq manas

11.  Daan falitas

12. Daraabi dunas

However, nowadays the above games are rare in few parts of Hunza. The new generation now mostly love to play cricket, football and volleyball. To promote sports activities sports clubs are operating each village.
