A seven member Chinese delegation visited KADO centers and saw the gems
cutting and polishing center. The KADO team briefed the
delegates on the activities and areas of potential partnership
in hydropower generation, cooperation in gems and minerals
sectors, cultural exchange, knowledge and technology transfer
and improving infrastructure and communication sectors. The
Chinese team took great interest in the gems products and
invited KADO and its members in the 3rd international
Kashghar Community trade Fair.
Chinese team
attended a cultural evening organized by KADO in which the head
of the delegate appreciated the efforts of civil society
especially KADO in Hunza and encouraged to strengthen the mutual
understanding on various fronts including tourism sector as both
the countries share the same boarder and a long tested
friendship.
