On July 29, 2007, KADO hold
annual general body meeting as regular feature. The aim of
the meeting was to reconstitute the board besides looking
into the progress as appointing auditors. The important
aspect of the meeting was to reconstitute the board and to
elect chairman and vice chairman as there three-year term
ended in July, 2007.The process of election took place
through ballot box as par of recognized democratic process
of fair and transparent election.
Mr. Sher Alam, who completed his first
tenure, was re-elected with majority votes. Mr. Amjad Ayub
elected as Vice Chairman again with majority votes. Three
new directors; Mr. Jan Alam, Shama Meraj and Farhat Bano
were elected as new directors for two years. Every year 1/3
of KADO board retires and new directors are appointed. In
this meeting KADO AGM appointed KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co for
audit of the account books for 2007.
