Since the initiation of the Internet services by KADO since
2004, it is realized that the services has become inevitable and
there was demand to upgrade the services. Keeping in view this
demand KADO improved and upgraded its Internet services
especially the increasing the bandwidth. Now the customers are
enjoying high and reliable speed through better connectivity as
compared to rest of the services. Internet service is an
initiative of KADO under its ICT4D project financially supported
by IDRC.
Internet service was started in Hunza on October 2004 as a
research project to improve the communication, marketing,
service, education, health, businesses, management, information,
job market and poverty reduction. Its impact on the market has
been assessed remarkable and Hunza is now a part of global
village and it is privileged to say that people from Hunza are
enjoying the best internet services and utilization in the
entire northern areas.
