KADO recently launched a project with the name of knowledge
Management. The aims of this project is to educate masses on
different aspects of life including health, education, early
childhood development, nutrition, economy, household
management, budget and resource utilization etc through a
local table television. Therefore, entered into agreement
with local cable and TV owners with the name of Devakoo
production. In this production production unit there are
competent and technical local people who are engaged one way
or another with media and performing art. The idea is to
train these people and through this production unit many
local programme on local TV will be launched very soon and
it is expected that in short span of time the community will
have broad access to information which they really need to
take decisions their daily life.
By professionalizing and promoting art, Divaako production will
promote culture, language, art and local identity of Hunza
through cultural shows, dramas, talk shows, and
documentaries, quiz competitions and films. It will provide
a big opportunity for youth to take part in training and to
develop their caters in film production as a mean of income
and employment and there are brighter career opportunities
with the explosion of media. It will be a great contribution
towards educating youth about their cultural and historical
richness and heritage. |
