PEOPLE  

Did his Masters in International Relations from Karachi University in 1994 and since then works in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. He started his work as Program Manager Arts and Crafts promotions with the Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan and later worked with the Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP) as Manager Enterprise Development in Baltistan region.  He draws most of his professional experience from leading a community driven initiative-Karakoram Area Development Organization (KADO) and Karakoram Handicraft Development Program- a Swiss Supported project in Hunza valley. Currently he acts as Chief Executive of Mountcon. He has wide-ranging experience in community development, institutional capacity building, women development and development of heritage-based enterprises in the context of under developed markets in the mountain regions.
